A Romanian court on Tuesday (Mar 14) denied social media personality Andrew Tate's request to be released on bail from police custody pending a criminal investigation into alleged sex trafficking.
Tate, his brother Tristan and two Romanian female suspects have been under police detention since Dec 29 as prosecutors investigate them for suspected human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, accusations they have denied.
The Bucharest court said Tate’s request to have police custody replaced with a restricted release on bail was "inadmissible in principle".

One thing Tate is a not is a wokester. He is as far as you can get from that. Held in jail since December and not charged.

I don't agree with their system of justice, but Tate does. He bashed the U.S. and our Constitution, and said Romania had a better system of justice. Actions have consequences. You get what you vote for. He hates our Due Process, so don't ask for it now.
I am a woman, Women are not property but not every woman is owed admiration because she happens to be a woman. Same goes with men.

I personally can’t stand this guy after seeing a video of him violently beating a woman, but I do wonder if word was put out for the Romanians to take him down because of his social media influence.
Andrew Tate is a con artist who targets men with his scam, to get all their money.
Nothing violent but I'm sure a lot of financial problems for them, bad neighbors, etc. They can't afford to have someone with a lot of 'eff you money tearing things up.

Well, this is why you should probably do some perfunctory research about how the legal system works before you travel to, and especially before you relocate to or do business in, foreign countries.
And especially if you are the kind of person that the US government is not going to waste an ounce of diplomatic currency to help.
He also sells porn to men. Except he has the women on cam, and he has men typing out the words that are supposed to be coming from the women. Because he says men are better at saying things that will entice these losers to spend more money on the cam girls.
He’s going to leave Romania after saying they were the best country in the world and they’d let him rape a woman.

But Tate did that. He specifically said he was in Romania, because the society and legal system were much better than other countries. He said he could get away with rape in a Romania.

I am not making any excuses for this guy. I know who he is, I just would not put him in the woke category.
You must be kidding, he can’t do diddly against the Romanian government, but they can sure screw him over if they so choose. He’s got a big mouth and talks a lot of trash, when you start tweaking the woke left you best have a clean background. I’ve never watch his videos, but from what I’ve heard he’s a rather slimy character. Let’s see what evidence the Romanians have first.
