Agree 100%

And before anyone accuses me me of being soft, I’m all for executing shoplifters upon a third conviction

This is her second DUI...having hit & run in late 2018 after hitting an unattended vehicle.

From further down in the DM article:

Folly Beach officials said Komoroski was not injured in the deadly smash. She was driving 65mph in a 25mph zone at the time of the crash and smelled of alcohol, but refused a field sobriety test.

According to the affidavit, she told first responders that she had consumed one beer and one tequila shot before getting behind the wheel.

When asked by officers how she felt on a scale of one to ten - ten being completely sober - Komoroski allegedly said she was an eight.

Results from Komoroski's blood tests are still pending, but Charleston County records show that she was charged with three felony DUIs resulting in great bodily injury or death and one count of reckless homicide. ...

She could face up to 25 years in prison for the death of the bride, as well of a fine of up to $25,100, and an additional 15 years and $10,100 for the serious injury caused to the men in the buggy.

The wedding couple and two other men were in the golf cart when they were struck by Komoroski's car, which she was driving at 65 mph.

Nah. The second confirmed conviction you lop off one of her fingers of her choice. Rinse and repeat and lop off another finger for every subsequent offence. It’ll take care of itself.

Alcohol is no ones friend. A bit now and then, no problem. Regular and frequent drunkenness will hurt many more than just the drunk.

Two people in my immediate family have killed themselves. That leaves a great deal of sadness and life long soul searching behind with the living. Believe me, you want to prevent suicides.

I would agree if I thought our justice system was very reliable, however I have seen way to many bad people walk and a few totally innocent people completely screwed.

I figure 1st offense conviction could be flawed, chances of it happening three times is nil though.
