no she does not.....not anymore than any other person who causes pain and death IF this is her first offense.
Speedoy trial there. It happened Friday and you’ve already convicted her and are ready to pass sentence.
One of the best men I have ever known killed someone while driving drunk. The horror of the whole situation turned his life around completely. I didn't know him during his wild days but knew him after he turned himself around and became a model citizen, respected businessman, and church deacon. To his dying day, he was emotionally devastated by what he had done.
Punishments need to be considered on a case-by-case basis. I think the judge in this case ruled better than it appears that you would.
