Your post #7 - I would have used a Marv Throneberry card instead, because I had about a million of those at one time, but the same idea. I have no idea why Topps put so many of his cards in the packages back in the day. Somebody must have forgotten to stop the press after a normal run.

That used to be a very popular thing to do: set baseball cards around the spokes of your bicycle wheels to get that purring motorbike effect! The Paperboys in my neighborhood often did that. You could hear them before dawn.
