Cholera combined with all the alkaline mud from all the rain, can’t be good for the skin or breathing system.
There is a good reason why that area is a desert, it’s uninhabited except for a few animals, over time it’s not hospitable for humans who are worn down, dehydrated from all the adult beverages and drugs getting consumed, it’s no wonder a virus is spreading.
And it’s so freaking hot.
