Harris resign as VP? Could happen rather easily. I’ve long said that Biden could force Heels-up to move by pointing out she is not NBC and couldn’t be prez. He could claim she lied about her eligibility and must move. The sweetener could be a deal to give her Foonstein’s senate slot. If DiFi resigns then Newsome could appoint her replacement until the next regular election.
If the dims see the mene mene tekel upharsin they could agree to appoint Trump as VP. That’s a little farther out as a possible but is completely constitutional. Don’t forget that Mumbles is fading fast. They need to make a move while he can still write.

Sounds like a “you must show them” moment. It would be such off the wall partisanship that even Rio Lindan’s would recognize it.
I think the ‘forceful’ part could be related to the limited Dem margin in the senate - i think it’s only the one vote isn’t it? So if they lose one it becomes 50/49 if you don’t include the VP?
