Agreed. Any politician who recognizes that for us to send money to anyone abroad is adversely affecting our children & grandchildren, and realizes this, is a keeper for me. At least for now, until they change.
On principle, I am against all foreign aid but I can decern when that principle does not apply. This is one of those exceptions. Your unborn descendants would agree.
