Do - The stuff that buys me beer
Re - The guy who sells me beer
Me - The guy who drinks the beer
Fa - The distance to my beer
So - I think I’ll have a beer
La - La la la la la beer
Ti - No thanks, I’m drinking beer

“saw Camelot with Richard Burton that week.”

Lucky you. That would’ve been amazing.

They left out the Austrians throwing flowers in the streets for the Wehrmacht to march over in 1938.

Very clever people, to make everyone believe Beethoven was an Austrian, and Hitler was a German.

One of the girls was married to Robert Urich, I think. Heather Menzies... Maybe?

Didn’t he write “Suicide Is Painless”?

That’s funny. A new one on me.

I recall that when the movie was popular, Mad Magazine did a parody, “The Sound Of Money”. (IIRC. It’s been a long time.)

It was indeed. There was a big dog in the show that stood rather stately on the stage...and "improvised".

Burton was amazing...

also saw Camelot on the road...with Richard Harris...he was a stunning Camelot.

Each one has a clip of them singing on line.

“”Didn’t he write “Suicide Is Painless”?””

Oh my gosh - that goes back to the theme for “Mash”, doesn’t it? I’m not sure who you’re referring to as writing it...

“”One of the girls was married to Robert Urich””

Such a great actor and such a tragedy when he passed away so young..As to wife, I’m not sure....Aren’t we glad that Al Gore invented the internet - we can research to our heart’s content...
