Leftists are experts at being politically correct.
But the filter they use for the rest of the world seems to constantly malfunction when it comes to former President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, “The View” co-host Joy Behar let her true feelings show when co-host Sara Haines suggested that Colorado and Maine’s decisions to remove the former president from the ballot could give the appearance of a “rigged election.”
(snip)
“So you think they should leave it to the voters?” Behar asked.

Fascism is strong with this one.
Rosie O’Donnell...............
Trump is just in the way.
Another point for her. The show is successful, so there are plenty of dumb people in America.
Why does anyone pay any attention to this woman?
I’d throw Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes into the mix as well. Good Lord women, enough with the lipstick, if you slather on anymore of that stuff pretty soon you’re going to be wearing it as eye liner too.
Even today, Article II of the U.S. Constitution does not dictate (although it allows) that citizens of the several states are to vote for presidential Electors. A given state could, if it so choose, provide that its Electors be determined by, say, a throw of the dice.
Personally, I think replacing popular elections with random lottery selections has a lot to recommend it. At least for members of Congress.
Or just randomly pick names out of the phone book
No one on that stage sounds smart or confident in what they believe or are saying. Are the “applause” co-opted? Does EVERYONE really feel like clapping at the same time?
Sounds like she’s all in favor of the electoral process.
Can we hire some Iranians to bring Joy to the top of a building and throw her off?
Only eletist pinkos in big cities should be able to vote.
This woman is dead from the neck up.
Repeal 19
I think that was a line attributed to Bill Buckley.
I was thinking something along the lines of having anybody who wanted to serve in Congress, and who was otherwise constitutionally eligible (e.g., 25-years-old for the House, 30-years-old for the Senate, etc.), submitting their name to be put into the hopper, as it were, and then literally picking out names on a random basis.
I think the overall result would be better than what we have now. And since "reelection" would no longer be a thing, that would completely change (again, for the better, I think) the power dynamic in "official Washington."
I think she is projecting the Dems next move
If anyone needed to be fired, it’s pretty much everyone on “The Spew”.
She Doesn’t Believe Voters Should Choose Who Is President.
No communist does it’s why the democrats try so hard to block them from doing it.
81,000,000 votes huh
Voters choose the Electors to the Electoral College. The Electors choose the President.
Federalist #68 (Alexander Hamilton):
It was desirable that the sense of the people should operate in the choice of the person to whom so important a trust was to be confided. This end will be answered by committing the right of making it, not to any preestablished body, but to men chosen by the people for the special purpose, and at the particular conjuncture. It was equally desirable, that the immediate election should be made by men most capable of analyzing the qualities adapted to the station, and acting under circumstances favorable to deliberation, and to a judicious combination of all the reasons and inducements which were proper to govern their choice. A small number of persons, selected by their fellow-citizens from the general mass, will be most likely to possess the information and discernment requisite to such complicated investigations.
Electors would have "investigated" and declined to vote for a candidate whom they thought was unqualified..
The choice of SEVERAL, to form an intermediate body of electors, will be much less apt to convulse the community with any extraordinary or violent movements, than the choice of ONE who was himself to be the final object of the public wishes.
This is what is happening now in Maine with the Secretary of State unilaterally removing President Trump from the ballot. The Electoral College was intended to prevent this kind of ballot corruption.
