Trump’s lawyer was barely one minute into his opening statement before Judge Florence Pan—Biden appointee—interrupted him with a series of hypotheticals about a president’s criminal conduct in office.
Pan came pre-scripted to get atta girls from the media (which she did!) when she asked if a president could be criminally prosecuted for ordering Seal Team Six to assassinate a political rival.
Instead of allowing his attorney to answer—impeachment and conviction is necessary first—Pan kept haranguing him to give a “yes or no” answer.
This is why Pan just happens to be assigned to 3-judge panels in politically-charged cases. She wrote the “splintered” decision that barely upheld DOJ’s use of 1512c2 that is under review at SCOTUS.
She is a partisan in a robe.
The country is in unchartered and dangerous territory and instead of serious people taking these matters seriously, we get lightweight hacks like Pan:
