Wood heaters killing people... This just may be the stupidest thing I read in quite a while...

ACT is a developed area with modern police, coroners, hospitals, etc. Why in heck would those doing a “study” need to speculate on the numbers of annual deaths caused by wood-burning heaters, when they could get or derive factual quantities of deaths from coroners and health authorities?
As other commenters have suggested, they are making up numbers to panic people into accepting totalitarian bans.
