called doc complaining of sore spot behind my left nipple.
he sent me for an x ray, it came back clear.
i quit smoking.
2 months later i had a scheduled check up, and was sent for an mri.
doc called , said i had lung cancer now.
have been waiting over a week for a call to schedual a biopsy.
probably at back of line cuz of illegeals.
how ironic that i quit smoking, have clear x ray, then 2 months later get lung cancer.
request prayers.
Scheduling anything medical today is a nightmare. This becomes more critical with cancer since it doesn’t stop replicating just to accommodate a doctor’s schedule.
Prayers in for you, cuz1961, during this trying time, in the Name of Jesus, for your complete health and healing. That’s great you quit smoking, thanks to God.

FWIW, my 78 hear old MIL who never smoked (nor lived in a smoking household) got lung cancer and the treatment she was getting worked (she died from something not related)
Meanwhile my ex-smoker sister had many scares that never turned out to be cancer.

Yes, most definitely am praying with you and others. Some great comments also. I know God can heal you, He created the universe, so I pray for healing and I pray for comfort and peace for you and your loved ones.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you touch cuz lungs, and heal them. There is no God like our God, who has provided healing through the sacrifice of Jesus. He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we ARE healed. Isaiah 55:5.
Cuz, begin to speak God’s word over yourself, no matter what the doctors say:
By His stripes I am healed.
No weapon formed against me will prosper.
I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.
Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit sayeth the LORD of hosts...this mountain [whatever comes against you] shall be removed.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
Healing is the children’s bread.
