Former President Donald Trump claimed that the stock market is booming under President Joe Biden because investors believe he will return to the White House.
The Republican frontrunner joined Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo for an interview set to air on Sunday, where he discussed his economic policy and the current state of the economy under Biden.
Recently, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index hit record heights under Biden. Trump tried taking credit for those numbers, claiming in his interview with Bartiromo that investors believe he is going to be the Republican nominee and beat Biden in November.
Bartiromo asked the former president: “So I mean, the Biden team can say, ‘Well, if things are so bad, how could the stock market’s on a roll?'”
“Because they think I’m going to be elected,” Trump replied, prompting Bartiromo to follow up, somewhat incredulously: “You think the stock market’s rallying because people think you’re going to be elected?”
“Yeah. If you take a look at Iowa, if you take a look at New Hampshire. The stock market’s been going crazy since then,” Trump added. “And and long before then, when I when I announced I was running, I took the lead early. And then I beat everybody, including Ron DeSantis. I call him DeSantis. And I took the other names away.”
Only seven companies are making up most of the growth in stocks.

Where do you believe people shop more when local small businesses close?
For example, my daughter lives in WV, it’s all chain restaurants, big box stores, etc-—because there’s very few small local businesses. Also, layoffs, government intervention, etc.
Also, what happened during Covid? Which companies were making money hand over fist? It’s not what’s causing this but adding to it...

Hong Kong is at the same level as 1997, China at 2017 levels.
Doomers will doom, and can be right in the end. But the market continues higher. Extreme low volatility is algo buy opportunities everyday. There will always be dips, ebbs and flows.
The left knows in order to save socialism they need Trump to use capitalism.

In the last five years the markets are up over 50%. You really have to work hard to lose.
You don’t “play” the market. You become an owner in good companies.
