I know a guy that helps defend Monsanto (or Bayer, who bought them) against the lawsuits. They’ve been sued multiple times. The guy says having seen all the evidence that’s been presented, he concludes that Glyphosate is perfectly safe.
I can only use anecdotal evidence myself but I live in a farming community and we were farmers and we knew all of the farmers and everybody uses glyphosate it’s one of the greatest tools that farmers have ever had. I know of only one farmer who had Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and I know very few farmers who have had cancer at all. The farmer who had the Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma was a farmer that was not a Hands-On farmer he did not work in his Fields he didn’t drive tractor he didn’t spray crops he had people who did that for him so no one ever thought it was the glyphosate.
I have to say that we probably didn’t treat it with the respect that we should have I remember back in the day my husband built a toolbar with three seats and connected three garden hoses to it tank and myself and my son sat on the back and he drove through the field and we would spray individual Johnson grass clumps.
