masks are completely useless, and those requiring them know this; I had a respiratory infection a while ago, and went to a clinic to get a script for a cough suppressant, and because I had a viral infection, they told me to wait outside...
‘what if I wear a mask, can I stay inside” I asked.
“oh,no,” they answered “you have to wait outside, and put your mask on when you come back”
“so you’re admitting the masks are useless, since you won’t let me stay here with one on, for fear of infecting others.”
“oh, no the masks work,” they said.
“then why do I have to go outside”

Your question made perfect sense, Nurse Karen knew it, and didn’t want to admit the obvious.
Why do all the medical people wear masks? Is it just part of the uniform? Why not ask your doctor for the medical reason it is done. If you don’t have a doctor, there are ways to get medical advice. And, medical people have to be very scientific in what they say. Malpractice lawsuits can be very costly.
