It’s tough to stick to a decent diet when you aren’t close to home (working.) The vast majority of eat out places serve horrific “food.” The ones that don’t server poor quality. They have to for economic survival.

That's where "One Meal A Day" (OMAD) comes in. If you are on a Keto diet, where you live off of Ketones for energy, it's much easier to control hunger, so you can have control over when you eat, and don't feel like you have to eat in a situation where the only choices are bad choices. So you either eat a big breakfast before going to work, or I prefer to actually have my big meal at night, after I get home. But eating carbs will make that much more difficult, due to the blood sugar spikes.
