Judge McAfee’s Ruling Big Win For Team Trump
Nikos1121

Posted on 03/15/2024 11:17:45 AM PDT by nikos1121

Let’s all take a deep breath, and think about the long-term results of Judge McAfee‘s opinion versus what the knee-jerk thinking is among the conservative podcasters.

In my opinion, this may very well be a big win for Trump and the other defendants. For one thing, if Fanny stays on the case, that means she will need to answer questions regarding not only her indiscretions, lies, and other prosecutorial irregularities., She will also have to respond to why she went to DC and met with the Biden administration, Kamala Harris, and the DOJ. Nathan Wade, now is a possible witness.

On the other hand, if she takes herself off the case, then now you have the incompetent, Nathan Wade, or someone worse is in charge of things, and Fanny and her entire office may be in the witness seat.

In addition, Judge McAfee, removed the meat of the case, by dropping the six counts. The prosecutors now will have to go before another grand jury if they want to rewrite these indictments.

In addition, this whole soap opera is going to be delayed for months, certainly after the election.

I’m sure other people in this form will list many other reasons why this could very well be a win for the Trump team.

In addition, I think this was a pretty clever verdict by The Judge. He comes down as being impartial. In fact, looking like overly ruling in favor of Fanny and her while bf. On the other hand, he has put some obstacles in front of them if they choose to go forward.

Should Trump appeal the verdict? I don’t know. It doesn’t sound like Fanny and her boyfriend are in the clear. To the contrary, I think they have some explaining to do not only to the Georgia Bar and the ethics committee in Georgia but also to Congress and beyond.

I welcome your thoughts.

It really doesn’t matter much what we think.... CNN/PMSNBC/ABC/CBS and their ilk will all tell us what happened and how to interpret it and think for themselves.

“On the other hand, if she takes herself off the case...”

You can forget about that one.....what’s more than likely gonna crash her little witch hunt is her blind rabid desire to “get Trump”.

A “big win” would have been a total elimination of Fani Willis and Nathan Wade from this case, and a recommendation for their prosecution

they had a hidden sexual relationship. They clearly established a kick-back and money-laundering scheme, using tax-payer money and media protection with Trump as the bogeyman, where govt money goes to Wade, then back to Willis

And then they lied about it, multiple times.

This judge is a failure, and totally corrupt

Normally I don’t pay attention to positive spins like this. Too much dopey hopey.

But this ruling is so egregious - so blatant that one can smell it being overturned as we speak.

Amen. I watched much of the testimony live. The corruption was overwhelming!

The best analogy I know of? You find two men in a bank vault stuffing cash into sacks. You arrest one. You tell the other, “Nice to see you, Police Commissioner!”

I detest the ongoing absurd lawfare. It undermines my confidence that the system is fair and impartial.

However as much as I detest the lawfare, I think it DOES help Trump politically at this point, because of a growing number of people who feel the same as I do about it.

The Left attacking Trump has been what has made him popular. Regular people start to realize in those attacks what the elites think of the common person.

It's politically good for Trump, as it highlights the abysmal state of our "justice" system.

But it's overall bad for the state of Georgia and its legal system. Not only should Fanni Willis have been removed from the case, she should be charged with perjury, contempt of court and potentially be disbarred.

The question is whether it will be overturned before the election. Their goal is to get a conviction before the election and McAfee’s ruling may permit them to do that. If the conviction gets overturned on appeal (as it should be, but I wouldn’t count on it...depends on which judges make the ruling) it will be after the election. If Trump is defeated in the election they may spare him prison...otherwise they want to see him in prison. That would delight the media and the overwhelming majority of Democrats.

Willis and Wade should be made to pay back all the taxpayer money he was paid, and what they partied on.

“This judge is a failure, and totally corrupt”

I agree.

And the Federalist Society should be embarrassed by this decision.

“Scott McAfee was the vice president of the college’s chapter of The Federalist Society while attending the University of Georgia, where he graduated with his law degree three years later. The Federalist Society is a group of conservatives and libertarians dedicated to reforming the current legal order. The group has played a major role nationally in securing conservative judges appointed to the bench, including the Supreme Court.”

Yeah, yeah... all well and good. Pretty convoluted. And if Trump loses, it gives him a good chance to appeal.
However.... These ‘lawyers’ lied in front of the judge, and he is letting it slide. This is so corrupt. And.. it took him two weeks to figure out how to craft his wording!

Reminds me of Comer telling us, ‘Yes, Hillary lied and did illegal stuff but since there was OBVIOUSLY no evil intent, it would be wrong to charge her. So, she skates.’

“I welcome your thoughts.”

My first thought is... so, you’re a glass half-full person. I wish I could be at this juncture and point in our deliberately orchestrated national demise.

McAfee took the weasel road out... not the high road, which is what was required to restore faith in the “justice” system. The case should never have been brought in the first place, McAfee should have recused himself, and sans that... the case should have been thrown out and Willis summarily fired as the DA. None of what “should be happening” seems to actually BE happening, however.

That said... sure. Trump team could end up winning this. But McAfee’s ruling sure as hell didn’t do anything to assist that just ending. He knows the downside to going against the DS.

Well said.

The whole world knows that the two of them lied. The whole world sees the sham and the political nature of this whole thing. And now there’s no place for her to hide. She’s still involved , she still is coming across as a total loser when it comes to putting together a case and more and more as time goes on we will see that she was taking her marching orders from Washington and the Biden administration.
