I just paid over $800 for 3 months of Eliquis because my deductible hadn’t been meet yet. The rest of the year it’s about $325 for 3 months.

“Lifelong”, per my doctor.

I need to find better options. This is ridiculous. And every time I see a glitzy Pfizer commercial it really pisses me off. It’s like they’re rubbing my face in it.

The drug is co-marketed by Pfizer. The patent is owned by Squibb Company (one of the last free standing pharma companies that Pfizer hasn’t taken over). Eliquis is not a blood thinner, like the very olde Coumadin (warfarin, which is a chemical used at higher doses as a rat killer, btw). The coumadin requires clotting checks. Eliquis does not and saves a lot of time and money for keeping clots from forming.

That said- they are raking it in on the co-market.

Me too and my symptoms were same as OP

breathing and leg pain

Sapphic in my case

Right leg from old 1976 H2 motorcycle wreck

Go figure huh

I crashed on a 750 two stroke unwieldy nip pocket rocket

At 18 lol

Anyhow it’s here to stay

My lungs are like little tiny clot bubbles everywhere

But it’s the big one that gets ya
