I don’t get warm fuzzies from Kristi Noem with regard to her real level of Conservatism.
I concede I could be off base on her, but I oppose choosing people largely based on their anatomy to appeal to a segment of the electorate. The choice of any woman because of the “need to have a woman on the ticket” is abhorrent to me.
If her credentials are solid, that is a completely different thing.

Like somone else she’s a populist - willing to bend to perceived “popular will” when politically necessary, but no true Conservative. Reagan was popular but no populist. He communicated in way that educated would be populist voters why his Conservative positions were right.

The original bill, as we later learned, supposedly had verbiage about starting a Digital economy in S.D., and that was why she had vetoed it, even though that wasn't the reason she gave at the time. Was the current one she signed devoid of that verbiage in the bill?
