If you go to the official Rush Limbaugh website these days, what’s striking is both how sanitized an image of Limbaugh it projects and how much smaller this makes him seem. His eyes are in soft focus, with the slight glisten of a tear starting to form. The non-Rush pictures are of soldiers, children, and bright-eyed scholarship beneficiaries. I have a lot of 2nd and 3rd cousins. Funny story, me and this other guy worked at the same place for 12 years before finding out we were 3rd cousins. I was going through a genealogy book I had bought and ran across his name. I thought that this will be funny when I tell him someone with the same name as his is related to me. Then I saw the birth date and thought, oh shit.
Many of the early listeners to Rush recognized a compatriot who expressed their feelings and beliefs in America. He grew in wisdom and and knowledge and continued till his departure from this earth to give support and credence to those same beliefs. I attribute Rush’s ability to communicate in down to earth terms that his listeners felt acceptable to them to his parents and the general American culture of the time. Much of the social distruction that is ongoing was not acceptable to Americans as a whole. Now we celebrate treason from top to bottom in our govt. A demented president with the Republic being dismantled by treasonous American communists. Donald Trump is now the physical leader on the front lines for Americans and our Republic. Leaders come in different circumstances and Rush was significant and helped Americans to understand current events. Now we have Donald Trump. His supporters are determined and committed to retakeing our American heritage and Republic. We have the person who can and will do the job needed to save America. Communists never give up and have no concience for where their greed for power takes them. Pray.
