I like “There Goes Another Love Song” by the Outlaws better. Saw them in concert back in’81. Excellent!

“Whiny Neil Young is not southern rock.”

A southern man don’t need him around anyhow.

“southern Man by Neil Young isn’t on the list.”

You’re kidding, right?

I’d put Ramblin Man at the top.

A song (not sure which one) from Black Oak Arkansas should probably be on the list or at least get an hornorable mention.

You don’t have to call me darlin, darlin performed by David Allen Coe.

The best country song ever written. I think it has overtaken friends in low places as a bar sing along favorite

LOVE BlackBerry Smoke!! If they’re in town my wife knows where I’ll be that night. In 2018 I think it was I saw them at the House of Blues in Orlando which is 10 minutes from my house-—by myself. Sorry honey, gotta go!

Anyone who likes southern rock HAS to see BlackBerry Smoke. Charlie Starr sings all the songs and plays a great slide guitar too.

Best Let a Sleepin Dog lie is one of my favorites of theirs.
