Lots of info indicated that this was a negotiated response with the US. We knew the paths the missiles and drones were going. We got 99% of them for a reason... Even then, Israel has been horrifically attacked over and over again. Iran has been at war with Israel for decades. Enough. I hope Israel turns the enrichment sites and several palaces of the mullahs into radioactive glass.
Obviously, the US negotiated something with Iran. But to be ok with this, as Hardspunned does, as if it’s a business transaction or something, is beyond the pale. Did Brandon negotiate that little Arab girl getting badly hurt, too?
I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. The US should stop interfering in the conduct of Israeli wars, and that includes intercepting inbound missiles. Thanks for the gear and all, but it’s our a@@es on the line, and we have to handle it ourselves, or in concert with neighbors.
But not the US. It has historically ended badly, especially for the US, every time the US actively puts a hand in. 1967, US Navy ship accidentally sunk. 1981, Marine barracks suicide bombed in Lebanon. With the greatest respect, I urge you don’t. Don’t.
So we negotiated with Iran for them to fire hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel.. for what purpose?
So we could shoot them down? Why? Any action can be shoe-horned into a conspriracy theory if you make the conspiraracy large enough and complicated enough.
At some point it becomes ridiculous. Iran comes away from this looking incompetent and impotent. I do not see any propaganda victory for them.
If you claim the USA conspired Iran to reveal US military secrets to the Iranians... It seems a very uncertain and inefficient way to do it.
You can argue we spent much more on shooting them down than they spent on shooting them at Israel. But our munitions have "use by" date as well. We learned much about what they and we can do, as well. It is not a one-way street.
President Biden seems capable of much more efficient treason.
