I guess the ill-educated, not too bright, but successful, have not embraced the benefits of “shut up and sing/act/dance.
Like every leftist is.
And they both try/claim to be a voice of the working man, and the working man supports Trump.
sadly, they aren’t likely to refund all your money.
I went to school with John. He was a year behind me.’Small Town’ is my life story growing up. My older sister was a close friend of his older brother Joe who was very talented musically. I like his music from the ‘80s’, but he’s always been a dick, pardon my language. He was a druggy and a headcase in HS. He came from a good family, but he was the black sheep if we can still use that term. He’s been a card-carrying leftist his whole adult life. Probably a response to his small town, rural, conservative upbringing.
John Lydon also called out Jimmy Savile decades before his crimes and perversions became public on a BBC program. And the thanks Lydon got was being banned from appearing on the BBC while Jimmy Savile was still allowed over the airwaves.
Well said.
Went to a Peter, Paul and Mary concert a number of years ago. Great concert until after the break. When they came back on stage they started to spew their liberal views. Guess they had forgotten where they were, conservative central Indiana. Half the crowd started blowing and walked out. They probably didn’t care; they had our money. But it ruined a great concert.
So true.
✅ What you said.
“Bodies” is probably the most anti-abortion song ever made.
Draft dodging bastard
I new some Freeper was connected, but I couldn’t remember who. Does that mean you knew George Green?
ome guy made his first radio cut with a song about dairy queen, chilidogs, and getting frisky behind a tree.
that is supposed to be intellectually superior?
True, but he did have a few before that.
The correct term is Black sheep.
A Southern man don’t need him around anyhow
Actually Hurts So Good was his breakout hit. Jack and Dianne was the follow up. The first hit song he wrote was I Need A Lover That Won’t Drive Me Crazy - but it was Pat Benatar that made it a hit. Until then it was just a popular Cougar album cut on the alternative college radio band.
