Well, our star has eight planets, so we cover for at least seven stars with no planets.
We used to have nine planets, but Pluto must have had something to do with 18th Century slave owners, so it was cancelled...

Pretty much every star so far observed does have planets. Apparently it’s part of the star making process. It’s a logical extrapolation to assume that any star will have planets
