Government exists to propagate itself. It’s naive of people to know that bureaucracies like the FDA, DOE, Education, NIH, etc... strive constantly to expand their reach and power while not considering that the intelligence and legal branches don’t do exactly the same thing. Bureaucrats/Government employees should by default NOT be able to have unions and should have HARD time limits in most if not all occupations on how long they can be employed within any particular field.
One of the toughest jobs Trump will have when he returns is how to eliminate about half of the govt. workforce.
The other half will have to take pay cuts and have a mind set that working for the govt. is now govt. service for a few years not a govt. career.
Possibly one move that could be made is to eliminate as many govt. jobs as possible and those needed be done with private enterprise.
