During Cabeza de Vaca's journey from Florida to western Mexico during the 1530s, he didn't see a single alligator.

Indians ate them.

Native Americans indigenous to Florida were ground breaking that way.....alligator and oysters, they found food sources in things most wouldn’t ever consider edible.

You’d be surprised what you’d eat if hungry enough.
