It definitely seems the Russians have moved back to more meat wave attacks. The figure for the 28th is almost 1100. A day or two ago I saw the figure of over 450,000 casualties, and daily death over 1100. I guess a desperate attempt to have “good” figures for Putin’s May 9th extravaganza. I hope Robotyne holds past then. Too bad for Putin’s ego.
Regarding trumpeting by Zeepers to disturb readers, I would not waste time or effort on fighting that. Stick to interesting and informative facts, I really like those. Too bad some people here are so frightened of those facts that they even have to resort to getting informative threads pulled. The more informative threads that get pulled, the more non alligned FReepers get annoyed and stop wanting to support FR. I guess if the Russia crowd is paying more to keep FR solvent, FR will become more and more a RUssian propaganda vehicle, and more true American conservative patriots will cease to be interested in FR. Having enjoyed many items posted here especially at the ping lists I have chosen to be on for the past 18 years, I will be sad to see FR fail.

Probably the number one “trumpeter” of pro-Ukrainian posts is, ironically, aMorePerfectUnion with his/her ‘Zeeper Follies’ pings.
AMPU has made twelve such trumpets in just the past five days and is doing a better job of spreading pro-Ukrainian opinions than I ever could. And I appreciate AMPU’s tacit support of Ukraine very, very much.
Now Russian supporters & isolationists are going to go crazy with the official announcement that UKR will definitely become a NATO member.
I saw the same thing. Seems plausible. But no way to verify it.
