To: Dust in the Wind

Each of the two trailers had one pivoting support to carry one end of the load. I’m sure these towers have been moved this way many times but, as I was watching it go by, it just seemed awfully fragile.

They say it was distillation tower was 217 feet long and it was hauled on two trailers with each trailer having 40 tires.

So it was not some 18 wheeler accident as most news reports have claimed.

It may take them a while to find the cause. It looks to me that while the lead trailers tires are lined up with the frame, the second trailers tires are steering to the left a bit. Also wonder about speed of travel compared to the load levelers abilities if it had that.
