You missed the point. We don’t WANT our convention in a red city, or a red state.
When the RNC has a convention, thousands of volunteers are mobilized there. They don’t just work on the convention itself. They work on establishing offices and events and voter registration drives throughout the state and region, and not just during convention week, but through the entire election process.
Where are 2024’s Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin?
Or instead, will the 2024 Dim Convention turn into a pro-”Palestinian”-demonstration fiasco?
Wonder how many pallets of bricks are going to left at certain intersections and parks, that no one will see who dropped them off of course, even though there are CCTs everywhere.

You are right. I had to call the RNC to inquire about attending the one in San Diego-1996. Nothing on the web now about encouraging contributors to attend unless something has come up recently. Still Milwaukee is a $hithole and there’s no reason to visit. Presidents Club went for $1k and Eagle went for $5k. They’re not marketing very well.

It really comes down not to what the Democrat party wants but what the heavy donors with extensive connections to the professional rioters want. These can't be bought off with money; it takes political concessions to do that. What might be enough is a little scary to contemplate.
