How much'ya' wann'a bet Joe Biden is in on formulating the questions and has a month advance notice to practice, while President Trump might get a few days to review the questions ?
The WH will never agree, but they SHOULD meet at FOX with an audience.

Otherwise, they would have put a stop to these biased "debates" decades ago.
I have no idea why Trump is even choosing to participate in this one-sided farce. The “moderators” are only there to prop up Senile Joe and attack Trump. Trump may not be the incumbent, but quite frankly he needs these debates less than Biden does - he could set the terms or refuse to participate. He does not need to play by Biden’s rules here.

Im thinking Kennedy will definitely be biggest beneficiary if Biden falls on his face, which he’s done before.
If the rumors about all the drugs they’re pumping into him are legit, it seems like they aren’t working too good.
The debate organizers could do a lot of things to increase viewership and be more fair to each candidate but they won’t. The dinosaur media and establishment hacks are unwilling, maybe even incapable, of change. It’s like the entertainment industry’s award shows (the Oscars, Golden Globe awards, etc.). They create these debates for themselves and their own like-minded viewers. They couldn’t care less about opposing views.

The networks will be desperate for ratings and Advertising revenues come Aug, Trump should have weekly town Halls with real Americans on the issues.

Doubt it. Biden has been determined incapable of simple responsibility and does not have the mental capacity to consider questions he can’t handle and Trump can’t hammer him with. His handlers are. It won’t be a debate it will be a circus.

My fantasy debate concept that will never happen but should:
1. Series of at least five 90 minute sessions, set one week apart.
2. Topics announced in advance. Economy. Foreign Policy. Budget/Spending/Debt/Taxation. Immigration. Social/Cultural Issues. Legislative Agenda.
3. Each candidate gets 45 minutes to present their policies and positions on the day’s topic (Not criticism of the other candidate). Then a series of six 10 minute segments wherein the candidates have two minutes to ask questions on topic, and the other has eight minutes to answer. (Criticizing the opponent’s policies definitely allowed in this part).
4. No notecards, teleprompters, earpieces, etc.
5. Moderator’s job is limited to handling the coin toss to see who goes first, and keeping the clock. No interrupting. No correcting “false” statements. No asking questions. Nothing to benefit one candidate.
6. If the candidates lie, get mad, spew crazy ignorant, foolish blather, waste time with empty platitudes and pandering, wander off topic, wander off stage, soil themselves, etc., the public will see who the candidates really are.
I doubt if either candidate would come off well.
Brett Baier and Martha McCown sabotaged Trump in 2020 with their virtual “Townhall” at the Lincoln Memorial. Fox News chose about 20 videos out of about a thousand submissions. They were mostly short attack speeches with a gotcha question at the end.
Baier and McCallum sat there with papers on their laps, which they referred to after each question. Having chosen the order of the questions, they had prepared talking points to continue each attack. There was one pro Trump question and two neutral questions in a two hour show.
Why Trump thinks it would be good to have Martha McCallum and Brett Baier as moderators is beyond me.

I’d say rather than Fox, one debate should be at Daily Wire with Ben Shapiro moderating. That’s a better opposite of CNN than Fox is
The programs we watch on fox news are NOT nevertrumpers -— The Five, Hannity, Jesse Watters, Gutfeld, FoxNews Tonight with Trace Gallagher, Maria Bartiromo, Mark Levin. I know there are more Trump supporting programs on Fox, but these are the ones we watch.
