“Why do you sign your posts?”

I guess I’m kind of “old school.” The traditional function of a signature is to permanently affix to a document a person’s uniquely personal, undeniable self-identification as physical evidence of that person’s personal witness and certification of the content of all, or a specified part, of the document. A long time ago I started using this as a finalization on a topic and way of invitation to comment. It kind of signifies that these are my thoughts and puts a closure to that statement giving someone an idea of remembering past statments to assist in identifying who I am.
