Rolling Stone ceased to be a serious magazine about the same time Jann Wenner decided he wanted to be on everybody in Hollywood and New York's A-list. Today, it's nothing more than a "People" or "Entertainment Tonight" type rag.

Any publication that occasionally prints P. J. O'Rourke can't be all bad. >:)

A better magazine (looking at older recordings) is the British magazine Mojo Collections (not to be confused with their other "Mojo" music magazine with is good but tends to be "trendier").
