Desperate for a cheese thread, eh? Let's bring on the tennis player most people care about...

 Anna Kournikova RUS
 v.
 Tatiana Panova RUS (21)

Intriguing first-round matchup for Anna against her diminutive countrywoman.

>Desperate for a cheese thread, eh? Let's bring on the tennis player most people care about... Anna Kournikova RUS v. Tatiana Panova RUS (21) Intriguing first-round matchup for Anna against her diminutive countrywoman.

  1. Well, I'm worried about poor Anna. Her first round Wimbledon match is against Panova, and Panova is so bad, that at the Wimbledon tune-up in EASTBOURNE, "...In her first tour singles match in eight years, Navratilova beat Tatiana Panova of Russia 6-1, 4-6, 6-2." Gadzooks. If Anna loses to some girl that an old woman beats, that's going to be sinking to a new low. (That's one of the reasons I've started switching my affections to a new kind of cheese...)

  2. Anna is starting [!] to get desperate. Her latest comment on her play is:
"I don't know what to think anymore. I am trying to get through it and trying to play through it. It is frustrating." Kournikova spoke of `changes in my life' having an impact on her form and she will be hoping for a quick tonic with The Championships, Wimbledon less than a week off.

But she said: "I have been six, seven hours on court practising each day - maybe I should stop practising."
Hmmm. I don't think she should stop practicing.

  3. At the French, Anna fell down right on what I believe the Wimbledom people would call her "bum:"
  4. I don't know if Brie has been to college, but at least her family is based in academia. Anna, as we all know, was naughty about her schooling: Anna Naughty-Kova Is Out (Anna Kournikova's College Adventure)

  5. Perhaps if everyone on FR thinks good Brie thoughts, Brie can upset Justin Henin, and then FR will start to get well known for influencing other things than just politics...

I meant to post this yesterday: Thanks for the Brie photo!

Are you BM? How in the world did you discover a site with dozens of Brie photos?

I liked these:

I went to google.com and seached for images with Brie's name attached. That lead me to the site.

The fabric of space-time itself has been ripped. (Or NOBODY hangs out in the General Interest forum...)

In the history of FR, has there ever been a thread with a picture of Anna's butt that died with less than a dozen posts?! (And this one has cheese, too!) Is everyone in the shower?!

A passing comet leaving a trail of deadly cosmic dust must have killed off everyone else of the planet -- we're the only ones left. Just remember, if Anna's still alive I claimed her first.

>Just remember, if Anna's still alive I claimed her first.

[laughs] If everyone on the planet is dead except you, me and Anna, and you "claim" Anna first, then I may have to take you to court on the grounds that my extensive posting of Anna threads & pictures gives me prior claim even though I never stated it explicitly...

(Poor Anna -- I can just see her sitting on a pile of rubble, thinking, "This is just my luck! I spend my life surrounded by women tennis players, and now the world has crashed and the last two guys alive are arguing about acceptable post-holocaust courtroom procedures...")
