You've got the verbiage chops, you've got the soul-blessed rhythm ... observing your writing style over the years John I liken your economical and bemused style to Steyn's in a lot of ways. You use a turn of momentum or an engaging phrase instead of ponderous vocabulary, as does Steyn. That's a really neat tool, and believe me, my conjuring of Steyn's patter when I read your best stuff is major props from me friend!
