A couple from the northeastern United States is working with American fertility expert Dr. Panos Zavos to have the world's first cloned baby.
Hundreds of people gathered in New York to discuss plans for what to do with the WTC site. Plans are to be narrowed to three next month, and the final one chosen in December.

The interesting thing about your link, besides the story itself, is the written language of the general to the editor of the paper. Although the words are still in use, the tone and the complexity of the sentences demonstrates a writer most at home with the written word. I doubt that even an English teacher today would write in that manner, because we are shaped by the language of television and dumbed-down newspapers. I have noticed that even textbooks for elementary shools today are not as difficult as the ones from my childhood.

Each Saturday, the Washington Times publishes an entire section about the Civil War!!! They focus on battles ... various Generals ...they publish maps and pictures. Very interesting ... if this is new to you, check it out!!
Well, I am a little more than slightly annoyed ... I did not watch any of the gaping-mouths today, relying on C-Span radio to rerun them back to back ... as they normally do. But not today. *sigh*
Sundays are my day for weeding, so I listen and assign names to the weeds as I unceremoniously yank them out of my beds ... there's a rather large pile of daschle's and gephardts, mcAuliffe's and lotts at the back of my property ... waiting to be taken to the dump ... where they belong, of course ...*grins*

Glad to hear it. The actual me is suffering quite another fate......I tend to wilt in this weather.
Other than that I am fine. I seem to have a little more energy since starting treatment; my poor husband doesn't seem to know what to make of it; projects left long undone are getting done; walks are being taken; I've even cooked a few times, I mean really cooked, not just throwing stuff together and calling it "dinner".;^)
The fatigue is not entirely gone but that, I guess, will take time. I'm definitely sleeping better.

Bit is on his way back to PA now and should be home in about 2 more hours...we had a great time (as usual) this weekend...
