We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
US Airways Group became the first major airline to declare bankruptcy since the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Israel has announced they will not sit quietly in the event of an Iraqi attack in response to an American descent.
Authorities placed the Golden Gate Bridge on a "superheightened" state of alert yesterday as credible terrorist threats became known.
Algore may think he deserves another run for the Presidency, but he has had trouble where it counts - convincing donors he has that right. His ability to raise funds for another Presidential run has not been very good.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Post your short news items, issues of interest, links, and so on. All who advance the Cause are welcome.
LET'S ROLL!!!
There is a property she wants to look at in Florida, and she has been insistent the trip plan for the vacation be modified to allow for the possibility (not yet confirmed).
Here is an interesting article that was posted here last night:
Tipsy-Sounding McAuliffe in Wild Vegas 'Party Bus' Romp
It makes you feel so good knowing that the adults are in charge, while the spoiled bRATs continue to act like spoiled bRATs!
If X42 is looking for a legacy, he need look no further...
How did the Junior Chairmans react to the Great Summer Vacation Plan of 2002? I've been waiting all weekend for this!
Can start Thurs, if need be.
Ok folks...I am going to beg now....
Can I indulge enough to ask all of you to do some prayin for me for some very heavy duty things??? Of course one of them is deciding what to do about my job, but there are a few other "domino-effect" related things too...I have been patient for a while trying to wait till things play out...but now I see the things that really need to happen, and happen soon.
So, if you all could be so kind as to just key up the prayers for me and few others, that things will "level" out soon, and start to "happen", I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Neets.
AMERICAS WAR ON TERROR Day 336
The news as reported in The Washington Times:
[Note All links go to The Washington Times website.]
1. Steven J. Hatfill, a bioweapons expert, said his life has been ruined by the sloppy and unprofessional FBI investigation into the anthrax attacks.
[Im not to sure of the particulars, but it can be argued the FBI is in serious need of reprofessionalization after the period from 1993-2001. Gee, who was President then?]
Hatfill says anthrax probe ruined his life
2. Washington DCs Mayor Williams hands off management style has led to as many failures as successes.
[Yeah, like his most recent issue with the November ballot p.1 of the demonflop handbook says that when you are going to cheat on elections, make sure you dont get caught.]
Williams stung by 'hands-off' style
3. US Airways was not able to recoup a $2 billion lost posted last year, mostly because of the terrorist attack on September 11; the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection yesterday.
[The fact they never really cared about customer service (at least thats been my experience) didnt help either.]
4. Morale has reportedly collapsed in the planning element of the Pentagons operation.
[Oh, not good. Maybe we need a good war to sort all that out. Hey, I know, lets attack Saddam.]
Pentagon policy-makers battle with waning morale
5. A Saudi foreign policy expert indicated 16 terrorists extradited from Iran will be tried in Arabia, but this individual could not guarantee the United States will have access to the suspects. In any event, they will not be extradited to America.
[I think it is high time the Administration review Arabias level of assistance in the War on Terror.]
Saudis will keep terror suspects
6. There are some workplaces that dont frown on taking a nap during work hours in fact, they encourage it.
[Can you say Chapter 7?]
You are getting sleepy, so take a nap
7. The junior Senator from New York, 97, has been a strong fundraiser for the demonflops, and is not hoarding much of the money for herself.
[Of course not. The party needs the money so it can sprinkle it to special interest groups to run independent ads on Hitlerys behalf in 2004.]
Democratic war chests get boost from Hillary
We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

Now you have the info, go support the United States of America!!!
Here is a good discussion, with no rancor, about war with Iraq, its necessity or not, and how Bush is handling the announcement...
"We get to see Mt. Rushmore? Kewl!"
Mrs. Chairman's notion of adding Jacksonville, FL, to the itinerary was met with less than whole-hearted enthusiasm.
Understandable.
W. - How did your weekend go?
Oh it would be wonderful to see some of you here today!
IB, are you a senior now????
petti- I missed you the other day....
polly - Did your husband make the trip okay?
Here are a couple of "Encounters with crazy liberals" stories....:
Our son stayed with friends of his girlfriend's on Majorca.
Also there for awhile at the house was a BBC producer, a woman.
One night she got into a political discussion with one of her hosts, and together they managed to spout the universe of socialist dogma.
After a little while, she stopped and turned to William, a college student, remember, and said " I bet you're hearing all this for the first time!" !!!!!!
William tried to explain the true nature of American campuses and media but he probably didn't get thru to th woman, so bound by her own biases.
Story #2....Reunion with my husband's family n. of San Franciso last month. More than half of them are liberals, including his own parents...
For the most part, we avoided political discussions, but somehow the name of UO42 came up, and husband's elderly aunt said brightly, "That's my guy!"
Stunned silence, even from my in-laws....
Finally, b-i-l, one of the conservatives, said "Well, a good % of American women would agree with you."
Hmmmmm. That remark seemed to nudge something in his aunt's brain.
"Did I say ******?? I meant Carter! That's my guy!"
At that point, I burst out laughing. I'd tried to keep my cool, but that was too much!
