Recessive genes are inherited at the same rate as dominant genes. Not always. If possessors of recessive genes breed less or produce less living offspring than those possessors of dominant genes then they don't get inherited at the same rate. It doesn't matter to me if some hair colors disappear though, it seems like blonde hair was just some genetic mutation that happened in Europe.

Exactly. Kid in my neighborhood has two 'black' parents, each of whom had a blond haired blue eyed grandparent. Guess what, one of their kids is black, with blond hair and blue eyes. Quite striking I might add. Now, if she marries a blond haired man and has kids...they'll all have blond hair. They won't be 'white' blonds but they'll be blond.
