What was SF thinking letting those children in the dugout and many were OUTSIDE the dugout while players were fouling away at the plate. Can you imagine what would have happpened had one of those foul balls hit one of those children in the head? The mothers should have laid the law down! and one of them was picking up a bat at home plate in one of the games while players were running towards the plate scoring...duhhhhhhh... some of those children were 4,5 years old????

It was just more ego-stroking for the super-star dads. Where were the little rugrats during the regular season? They should have let the regular bat-boys go to the big show.

Dusty Baker's kid very nearly got squashed on a close play at the plate. The SF runner scooped him up and got him out of the way. Having those players' kids as batboys was at best a distraction and at worst dangerous.
