We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The FBI has issued the following: In selecting its next targets, sources suggest Al Qaeda may favor spectacular attacks that meet several criteria: high symbolic value, mass casualties, severe damage to the American economy and maximum psychological trauma. The highest-priority targets remain within the aviation, petroleum and nuclear sectors, as well as significant national landmarks."
Meanwhile, Iraq has make a makeshift attempt to increase the range of their SAMs by jury rigging a booster stage on the missiles.
Secretary Rumsfeld says any war with Iraq will be respectful of human life on both sides, but the United States will work to get it over quickly.
A jury in Palm Beach county decided a gun distributor had to pay the widow of a slain teacher $1.2 million because the murder weapon used came from them. It is the first such judgment in the Nation.
And the Carr brothers were both sentenced to die in the Wichita Horror case. YES!

LET'S ROLL
In honor of Ari Fleischer's wedding, and as a special bulletin to Guenevere, I am going to post it here:
White House spokesman keeps wedding classified
November 09, 2002
When White House press secretary Ari Fleischer and Indianapolis native Becki Davis get married later today at the Westin Hotel, they will have managed to keep most of the wedding details under wraps.
Who can blame the bridegroom? As President Bush's chief spokesman, Fleischer gets paid to answer questions from the media every day. An opportunity to have "no comment" might be the best wedding gift he gets.
But Davis' local connections as a Scecina High School alum and a Ball State University graduate have attracted widespread attention since their engagement was announced last spring.
Despite the couple's desire to keep the wedding private, it's not all that easy when you have a guest list in the range of 350 people. That's not an event most folks consider intimate.
After a bit of checking, a few details have emerged, not the least of which is Fleischer's real first name, which happens to be Lawrence.
That tidbit came from the marriage license, which the couple obtained at the City-County Building on Thursday, paying the $60 nonresident fee, instead of the Marion County resident fee of $18. The bride and groom live in Washington, where Davis is an assistant in the Office of Management and Budget, headed by fellow Hoosier Mitch Daniels.
Fleischer, who has more face time on television than most Cabinet members, apparently went largely unrecognized at the Marion County clerk's office.
"They looked very happy," said Jodi Pollard, a temporary worker in the office who only realized who Fleischer was after a few media inquiries. "He was a lot of fun and was just giving her a hard time."
It's the first marriage for Fleischer, who turned 42 last month, and Davis, 26. Before going to Washington, Davis interned in the office of Indiana Secretary of State Sue Anne Gilroy and worked on her Indianapolis mayoral campaign.
The couple tapped Gilroy to be the family's spokeswoman, but she wasn't big on sharing details, either. She hasn't seen the wedding dress but said, "I'm looking forward to seeing a very stunning but simple gown." A priest and rabbi will officiate at the ceremony, which will be in the hotel. "Their faith is very important to both of them," Gilroy said.
Dinner and dancing will follow the ceremony in the Grand Foyer.
While the guest list is big, Gilroy says, "every person will be a close friend or member of the family."
There's no sign that any top officials will show. Westin employees have been told to keep quiet; but before that gag order came down, one said there have been no Secret Service agents checking things out as they did recently when Vice President Dick Cheney swooped into town.
Bob Deans of Cox Newspapers and president of the White House Correspondents Association said he hasn't heard of any reporters getting an invitation and is not surprised Fleischer is keeping to himself. That's the way he's handled the wedding plans from the start, Deans said. "He hasn't wanted to parade it in public."
There was no chipping in for a gift or any party tossed by the D.C. press corps as Fleischer headed off to be married, Deans said. "We all wish him well."
While the wedding details have been kept quiet, the couple's gift registries at Macy's, Crate & Barrel and Target have provided fodder for all kinds of stories cataloging their wish list for sheets, china (it's Lenox's McKinley pattern), crystal, videos and sporting equipment for gifts.
Finally, the honeymoon is another secret. Gilroy, repeating a phrase often associated with Cheney's secretive journeys, said the couple will be traveling to an undisclosed location.

The Westin Hotel is downtown. Scecina is a Catholic High School on the east side. The dress (as seen in a small clip the day of the wedding) was a strapless, full skirted gown with a traditional veil.
AND NOTICE THAT THE CHEAPSKATE PRESS POOL COULDN'T EVEN CHIP IN FOR ONE GIFT!!!!!!
Now back to more pressing news.
I think we are in for a bad winter..
With your back problem, I'd hate to see you shoveling.
