Tribute to a "Smart-Bomb"

Tribute to a “Smart-Bomb”

Amidst verdant hills and Spanish moss
Our restrained stirring’s burning
Beneath our proud carrier decks
Stealth fighter's wheels are turning
As widows rock their babes to sleep
And dream of “Daddy’s Eyes”
Our enemies will soon feel
Our judgement from the skies
You’ve provoked us to war again
And think, - that you’ll survive?
When you open your eyes
In hell, “Old Friend”
You’ll find that wasn’t wise
Soon you’ll be a fading memory
And your people will rejoice
Your people will burn you in effigy
Once they really have a choice!
