Good Morning!

Thanks for the link to "Have you seen the 2002 Clinton Ornament?" thread. Sure didn't want to miss seeing the trash the clintons believe is worthy of a Christmas ornament.
I thought this post from Hillary's Gate Cult was particularly interesting. Click the link in her post to read about the historic site that was leveled to make way for the trailer park library. Completely outrageous.
World's ugliest most self absorbed ornament ever...

Oops, should have read, thanks for the ping....

It looks like a box car or a trailer house to me. It isn't a mobile home because it doesn't have skirting or any landscaping.
Good Morning, Guilders.
Last night at 7:00 I got in the car and drove 50 miles to a mall and picked up the "kitchens" my 2 little toddler girls want for Christmas. They are called "Sweet Something or Others".
I have a major gift to buy for the Tiny Kid, and I'll be done. The rest will just be fill in things. I may have the College Dude haul the tree up from the basement before he goes outside to work this morning. I might as well get it over with.

Morning Gran - yep ole bent's ornament looks like a rail car riding on a panty liner from here - what class.
I keep trying to sell Mrs.L on the idea of using the foot tall ceramic christmas tree that has a light bulb inside, but to date she's not buying it, so I guess it's off to TreeGuy to get an overpriced fir for us to play with.
Wishing all the very best of Saturdays.

Thank you for pointing out the panty liner bit,,,, somehow, I missed that part.
Good Luck with the tree. I quit the real tree thing about 30 years ago. Right after I was still picking pine needles out of the edges of the carpet in July. They just kept working their way to the surface.

Interesting that the toon's architect covered the entire facade with "W's"...LOL!

I was thinking that it looked more like upside down chicken tracks, or the peace sign - but I can see the W's also.

Niece Update.
Got word this morning the doctors gave up scratching their heads and did surgery last night. It was an abscess but was tucked under her shoulder blade so the diagnostic imaging couldn't see it.
She's doing fine! Thanks very much for your prayers. She should be out of the hospital in a few days. Yea!
To: BigWaveBetty
Thanks for the update - a very nice early Christmas present.

A wonderful early Christmas present!
A big sigh of relief that is was so simple, I still don't understand why they couldn't see any fluid with an MRI. But anyway, thanks for the speedy recovery wishes. We sent these today to help with that.

I'd better get busy with some shopping, back asap.

That's good to hear about your niece. When you mentioned the location of her pain, I couldn't help but think of a friend who had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be lymphoma. Fortunately, she's now cancer-free.
Last night both CBS and MSNBC focused on obesity. I took it personally, so I've been out getting salad fixings, broccoli and the like. Our Christmas parade yesterday was great. We were the only political group to participate, and we got a few thumbs up from the spectators (I don't think it was just because we threw the best candy at - oops, to - the kids).
And now, the gift for the person who has everything:
IT'S that time of the year when wacky gift-giving ideas pop up all over the map. The latest folly is from John Lennon's widow, Yoko Ono, who is selling her wares through the SoHo store Troy on Greene Street. For just $85, you can buy an Ono-designed "Box of Smile" - a black box which "opens to an empty box with a mirror inset on the bottom to reflect the viewer's smile," its publicity states. Ono recently re-entered the music market with a techno version of her song, "Open Your Box." Page Six

Rudy finally to make an honest woman of Judith Nathan, so to speak:
America's mayor is getting a new first lady. Rudy Giuliani and gal pal Judith Nathan are officially altar-bound, spokeswoman Sunny Mindel confirmed yesterday. Despite a veil of secrecy that kept the news secret for nearly a week, the union hardly came as a surprise. The twice-divorced Giuliani, who once gushed that he hoped the couple's love would last forever, popped the question Sunday while the couple was in Paris, Mindel said. Daily News.
Well, I guess that makes all that messy adultery that preceded the engagement okay then.

Dang - there's millions out there who should take it a LOT more personally than you.

Arggghhh.
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. James Jeffords -- the Vermont independent who stripped control of the Senate from Republicans last year when he bolted the party -- slammed the administration's record on the environment and said President Bush was "undoing his father's legacy." "This year the power industry is getting a nice Christmas gift: the biggest weakening of the Clean Air Act in history," Jeffords said Saturday in the Democrats' weekly radio address, becoming the first independent {That pretty much puts the lie to the notion he's independent} to deliver that speech. full story, CNN
Just shut up, already, Jim.

Thanks for the Mark Steyn address...I love his writing and his sense of history.
Did you read the one where he compares our Euro and Canuck allies to the shoplifter who puts a frozen turkey leg down his pants...the FRONT of his pants?! LOL!
