Welcome to the pre-emptory pro-war event at Columbia.
2 Days before the Rainforest Action Network Comes to Columbia and 3 days before the Mobilization Against the War, Students United for America will be bringing some top billing speakers to Columbia.

The event will be held on Feb.12 from 7-9 PM at the Rennert Auditorium at the Kraft Center. (606 West 115th Street)

This event is open to all. No RSVP needed.

Yes, THE (notoriously liberal) Columbia University.

Sean Hannity has Bill Bennett on his radio show as I type this. Sean said to Bill: "Are you nuts? You're appearing at Columbia University - in enemy territory - tomorrow night? Are you crazy? Do you know you're going to get shouted down by a horde of left-wing, anti-war wackos? Are you prepared for that?" Then Sean mentioned that he might stop by this event at Columbia if he has the time, to see how Bill does.

I sure wish we could make it there tomorrow night... we need all the conservatives we can get in that audience!

I don't know about live media coverage. The event will be vide and audio recorded and there will be media there.
It should be a nice event. I'm busy juggling work and setting it up. I'm going to see if we can't sell tapes of the event for a nominal fee.

No, I didn't hear anything about live coverage of this event. Hannity just mentioned he might stop by.

I forgot to mention in #10 that Sean gave your event a nice plug at the end of his conversation with Bill Bennett on WABC. He read the location and time of the event several times on the air.

I'm watching Hannity & Colmes... Bill Bennett is on as a guest. Hannity is doing it again... saying "You're crazy, you're going to Columbia University tomorrow night? You're going to meet up with a lot of opposition there." Bennett said something briefly about being the chairman of something like "Americans Against Terrorism" (?), and briefly what he's going to speak about tomorrow. They've now moved onto something else... no "solid" plug this time.

Hannity just said "Good luck tomorrow, Bill. We'll be following with some tape." Sounds like some of Bennett's Columbia appearance will end up being shown on Hannity & Colmes.
