I just called my son in Dallas.......he's staying inside, as they are warning folks of falling debris.....but probably to the south of Dallas.

This is going to be devastating to our community here where I live. 30 minutes from Kennedy Space Center....

I was in Ft. Worth at the time, and in the kitchen, cooking. I didn't hear anything. Trill and my neighbors did.

My unit is tasked with recovering remains, since that's part of what Combat Services units do (mortuary affairs). I don't know anything about schedule yet. We'll find out tomorrow. The commander took names of volunteers for Mon-Wed, and then after Thursday (funding issues). Needless to say. I'm on both lists.
