I just renewed at $163 for a year with Progressive (through Harley Owners Group). It's cheaper here in Washington than it was in California (something to do with it being parked for eight months out of the year up here, I guess) but even in California I found my rates were good.
I have a 2001 Harley Sportster. Good luck in your search for a new insurer!

I recommend Progressive. To me, the proof is in the pudding. Low cost doesn't mean squat if they screw you when you have a claim. I had an accident, Progressive has been great at taking care of both the medical bills and damage to my bike. I like them so much, I'll probably switch my auto insurance to them at renewal.

I use Geico I have had them for 10 yrs this yr all rates went up ( I insure my cars and trucks along with my bike with them)
My bike a 1998 Vulcan Classic 800 is insuranced to the hilt. 0 deductable cost about $600 per yr.
I suppose I could get basic insurance for less then $200 per yr but I'm not complaining

I'm with Progressive and have had one claim, minor damage, my fault, and I wasn't penalized too badly. ST1100, $460 a year, full coverage, LAlaland.

2000 Pontiac Bonneville
1995 Safari GMC Van
1996 Harley Davidson XL1200CC
Luv USAA and never had any problems with them.

That's nothing. Any of you guys carry insurance for aircraft, even a C-152?
Talk about breakin' ya.
