excellent list! I am very suprised they excluded Television's Marquee Moon and Magazine's Light Pours Out of Me, which are bedrock punk/new wave.I did notice the inclusion of the Stooges Search and Destroy, though while a great song, is pre-punk.Good to see The Cramps also. What a fun band!Lux Interior and Poison Ivy are quite a duo!

The sheer range of styles from that period was exciting as all get out, as even some artists could be both melodic and then abrasive.Tom Robinson's Power in the Darkness is a glaring omission from this list, and are there any Undertones' Teenage Kicks? More PIL should be included, like Death Disco or Careering, and Killing Joke should be added as well.I'd even include a gem like Simple Minds Changeling as being a product of it's time.Is XTC represented, as well?I know Suicide is considered noteworthy, but why, pray tell? Same goes for Johnny Thunders.

However, these are mere quibbles, as overall, this is a fine set to highlight that era and re-introduce acts that otherwise have been forgotten by radio, but live on in the world of Kazaa and Morpheus.
