The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

It's the only time I ever take Tylenol. When I take it I am more concerned about mixing the meds I take in the daytime with the nighttime stuff for adverse affects between those. Tylenol does absolutely nothing for anything for me. So, I don't take it. Less it's in something.
But, today so far I've had 4 allergy tablets, 4 Excedrin and 2 Goody's powders. It's a little heavy on the aspirin/caffeine but I'm awake at least.

She's liable to turn north and take out the nasty ones talking bad about Elrond. They should learn to watch this talking bad about elves when the trusty elf wimmin are resting.

Hey guys, I'm trying to get a definite yes/no on entmoot this week. Can you tell me:
Exactly which days we have the castle
What days people are planning to arrive
Where in Florida I'd fly into
Whether I can get a ride from the airport to wherever since I can't rent a car...
How much I need to pay for a share of the castle
Also, ksen, what sort of church is it you attend?
Anyway I'm pretty determined to come unless it's going to be more than I'm willing to pay... I should be able to say definitely by Friday.

I know people keep a rifle on board for that kind of thing too. Sharks. A gaff helps too.
So when did you graduate high school. I think it is b'twixt us two here.

If the Excedrin has aspirin in it, combined with the Goody's...that's a lot of aspirin but I don't think it'll hurt you too much...other than maybe upset your stomach. Aspirin can slap eat a hole in your guts...it's an acid. But only if you take it all the time.
If the excedrin has tylenol in it (acetamenophen), use care! You can take 1000mg every 4 hours...for the short term. Where people mess up is taking a couple of Tylenol with their Nyquil...which already has the equivelent of 2 extra strength tylenols in a normal dose. Can really screw up the liver and that's not a good thing! LOL!!
Nyquil works wonders for Steve...the tylenol and everything just does the trick. Tylenol does nothing for me either and the rest of it makes me WIRED....have to peal me off the ceiling!
Best thing for sleep that's over the counter? In my opinion it's "Simply Sleep" by Tylenol...it doesn't have any Tylenol in it, though...just Diphenydramine...aka Benadryl. Makes me sleep very soundly.

Benadryl does bad things for me. I only take it for poison ivy or yellow jacket stings. Something has to be bad for me to take that. And if I do, I can't drive for at least a day.

Knocks you out?
It just floors me. I walk around in a stupor the next day! LOL I'm like you, I only take it in emergencies.
I took some the night I got home from MO because I had so many chiggers from sitting out in the woods while camping! Worked like a charm, I slept like a log...but was blah all the next day.

Exactly which days we have the castle - Jan 9-16
What days people are planning to arrive - myself, 9th through 16.
Where in Florida I'd fly into - Orlando
Whether I can get a ride from the airport to wherever since I can't rent a car... - yes - enough of us will rent cars or ferry folk.
How much I need to pay for a share of the castle - $164 for now..... Around $200 in I think November for refundable deposit.... Since you didn't pay for the first round (only $50) I would think if you can help out that much more on food when we get there we'd all be more than happy.

It's looking like I may be able to swing Entmoot. Still not giving a "YES!", but at least a "Probably"! Should be able to send money by the deadline, in any case.
My brother Bill wants to come, too. He's intrigued by this whole idea, even more so because he's heard there are possibly gonna be other anime fans there, homeschooled or ex-homeschooled ones, even. So he may be able to help me out with the cost, too.
We'd both be doin' the sleeping bag on the floor thing, I think.
To: 2Jedismom
Well, translate blah all day the next day to not even responsible enough to drive and you've got me. That stuff is dangerous for me. And I don't like the way it makes me feel.
But, for poison ivy or stings I almost have to.

$200 (maybe less) + $164. And the $200 is refundable afterwards if we don't trash the place.....
Many of us will be staying the whole week, but the Moot Proper is the 9th-11th.

No, I missed it. Will go back and look. I've been watching that Gov. Perry is calling another special session for redistricting. I had something to say.

"So when did you graduate high school?" I am pretty sure it was 1967, I almost can't remember. A long time ago, though.
I usually have a rifle aboard in the islands, though I rarely bother around Miami or the Keys. Gaffs, yes, in 3 sizes, sometimes 4 in the islands.
These things can create considrable commotion once aboard. That one is clearly subdued, though. They will probably release it, as most of us do. Once in awhile I will kill one for smoking.

I like Elrond pretty well, including the Agent Smith version. I'm not sure about the movie version of his house, though, even if it was taken from an Alan Lee painting.
