Hey Corin. I was thinking about all those downed trees in Richmond. There must actually be a swath of them all across the state. Do you suppose the price of lumber will be dropping in VA?
Is the cityscape much degraded because of missing trees? That'll take awhile to recover from, if it is.
Morning, everyone.

Can you imagine how one of those things would amplify the noise on my drag pipes?

the crowded noisiness of the weekend just accentuated my hearing problems...I don't enjoy large crowds either. Jet engines did me in. I have a spike in both ears at about 5000Hz where I have a 70dB noise threshold. Kinda muddles up a lot of other stuff at times. TV and movies can be vey difficult to understand.

Ha! Do you plan on coming to Entmoot? If I am able to come, and all the people that hang out here in the Hole that have hearing problems come, it oughta be a real riot!

gotta teach at the high skool... shouldn't require any chair-tossin'... I hope you are right!
Good morning everyone!
2J.... I will not think you are nuts for shouting "WHAT?" I wish you could be more comfortable with those other folk at the campout and just tell them you can't hear well... Is no shame in that!
Corin.... I had a dream about you putting in new flooring.
ksen, thanks for the FRMail, one returned!
WN Good morning! I feel like I am not fully caught up with all you have going on. Tell me something twice if you think I missed seeing it.... I have been missing a lot lately!
Ecurbh.... ~smile~ Good morning!

Yeah, a few Mallorns could be nice. The amount of drinking that goes on in Virginia, by tradition even, I am not totally convinced they need many more party trees, though.

I wonder how long it will be until Jar Jar lays? Is she younger, or was she just smaller?
