It's always just been 'a coke' in my neck of Texas.Well, heck, I guess Texas is two or three whole 'nother countries! LOL! Rose taught me to say "soda" (being from up north, I said "pop" when I moved here) and she's from San Antone. According to her, her dad always said "sodee water".

According to her, her dad always said "sodee water". Mine too. But, when we were having a red, orange or purple sodee water that turned your mouth that color we were having "belly wash."
