Respectfully, Christie McVie (IMO) sings in a Ringo Starr-like monotone.I've always thought her songs were the weakest of the three writers. I didn't miss her much at all on either the new album or on tour.

uh, not exactly, fleetwood mac was a british blues band prior to nicks or christie mcvie coming on board. Mcvie a good bit earlier than nicks.

Leather and Lace. Rhiannon. Dreams. Silver Spring (?), etc. She has always given us mystery, romance and beauty in her music. A beautiful voice, a beautiful soul and a beautiful face. Her songs will be heard throughout this century, I think, unlike the younger singers'.

That picture is the only one I've seen and it's pretty tame compared to the Madonna acts. In at least the few music videos I've seen with Nicks --- she was able to keep all her clothes and and has never had to resort to the things Madonna must. I saw one video with Madonna masturbating herself and writhing all over the floor mostly naked --- when you have to resort to that, you don't have talent. Without the vulgarity, Madonna would be a complete unknown --- Nicks would still be famous without that one picture with Buckingham.

"Stevie Nicks is a little old, a little overweight, and a little liberal. But I still have the hots for her...Maybe more so, after reading this bit of common sense. "Just imagine the arousal factor should Nicks ever give a reading of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address or Reagan's "Tear Down This Well" speech...;-)
