Follow-Up: Cindy Sheehan Writes She Often Thinks About Killing President Bush (Book Excerpt)
Wednesday, September 13, 2006 | Kristinn

Last week, Radar Online published a quickie review of Cindy Sheehan's new book, Peace Mom, that featured a mention of Sheehan's fantasies of going back in time and killing an infant George W. Bush.

After the story was posted on FR, it was picked up by Drudge, Hot Air, Rush Limbaugh and Fox News--and went no further. The mainstream media, which vigorously promoted Sheehan last year as the woman who simply wanted to meet President Bush to ask him, "For what noble cause did my son Casey die in Iraq?" has failed to report on Sheehan's desire to kill President Bush.

I bought a copy of Sheehan's book at a D.C. bookstore where she is scheduled to do a booksigning in two weeks. Here is the text of Cindy Sheehan's thoughts on killing George Bush:

Page 29: I often contemplate the "baby Hitler scenario" when I think of George Bush. It's the time-machine fantasy. If I had a time-machine (it always looks like H.G. Wells's invention), and if I rode in it back to the time George Bush was a baby, could I kill him and save my son's life and the life of so many other people.? I always come to the same conclusion: No, I couldn't kill anyone, not even a monster.

It is really dangerous to keep wondering over and over again if you could kill someone. To me, that means you haven't resolved the issue and still have the desire in your heart. One of these days, Cindy Sheehan could tell herself, "Yes, I could do that" and become another Squeaky Fromme.

BTW, this has been reported to the Secret Service.

She should have long since been arrested for stalking. There's a line between protest and criminal behavior which she has long since crossed many times.

This witch is seriously deranged. Someone in her family really ought to convince her to commit herself to an institution before she gets herself into serious trouble.

On a less compassionate note, if she wishes to try to make good on her fantasy, I look forward to seeing her cut down in the streets like the dog that she is.

If it was me who wrote that drivel, I'd probably be in custody by now. Pick her up and put her in a home. She's nuts.

Cindy, if you had shot yourself before you got pregnant, Casey wouldn't be an issue now.

If you had shot Casey's best friend, he might be alive now.

If you had shot your husband, he might be alive now.

If you'd worn a pink shirt instead of a blue one on June 15th, 2003, he might be alive now.

Good grief, her obssession is dangerous.

The worst thing is, I don't believe she's in mourning for Casey, as much as she is glad to have a reason to be "relevant" (and I use that term loosely) so she can spout her hate rhetoric against President Bush. The only reason she ever mentions her son, who was truly an American hero, is just so she can try to imply that she should have free reign to say whatever it is she wants because she lost her son.

I'd guess the Sheehag got a LOT of help getting this screed scrawled onto her construction paper without tearing it.

She's got a lot of "intellectual" followers, you know.
